Workers' Compensation: Intrastate Mutual Aid Compact

Summary

An employee or volunteer, who provides intrastate assistance to another jurisdiction and is injured or killed, is entitled to workers' compensation as they would receive in their home jurisdiction. This section is limited to the intrastate mutual aid system.

H. Workers’ Compensation. Personnel authorized by their employer to respond to an event who sustain injury or death in the course and scope of their employment remain entitled to all applicable benefits normally available pursuant to their employment even though they may be under the direction and control of another governmental entity.
