A government employee, who acts within the scope of their employment, will not be held legally responsible for causing injury, death, or damage. They can be held legally responsible if acting with carelessness.

Full Text

(b) 7 CMC ยง 2202(a) shall apply to government employees acting within the scope of their office or employment, to the same extent that the subsection applies to the Commonwealth government, regardless of whether the employee is sued in his official capacity or as an individual.
