License Reciprocity: Temporary Dental License


During a time of increased public need, an individual who is licensed to practice dentistry in another jurisdiction can obtain a temporary license to practice dentistry in the Northern Mariana Islands for up to 60 days.

(b) Based on public need and necessity, the Board may permit a person licensed in another jurisdiction, to temporarily practice in the CNMI when it is shown to the satisfaction of the Board that a sufficient number of duly licensed dentists are or will not be available in the CNMI to meet the medical needs of the public or to provide basic government dental services, such temporary permit shall not exceed sixty days but may be renewed as deemed necessary by the Board.
