Workers’ Benefits: Disaster Volunteer Compensation
An individual, who voluntarily provides services to prepare for or recover from a disaster emergency, will not receive compensation from the Trust Territory national government. They might be eligible for compensation through the locality in which they are providing disaster emergency services.
Compensation
(b) No personal services voluntarily rendered for emergency disaster assistance, relief preparedness or response may be compensated by the Trust Territory or any subdivision or agency thereof, except pursuant to statute or local law or ordinance.
