Scope of Practice: Physician in an Emergency Vehicle
A physician can provide treatment to a patient in an emergency vehicle if the physician is licensed in the state from which the vehicle is departing or is destined.

Section 9.0 Medical Treatment Rendered During Patient Transport in an Emergency Vehicle. A physician or other health care provider regulated by the Board who has not been granted a certificate or license in the State of Delaware may render care or treatment to a patient in an emergency vehicle which is in transit in the State of Delaware provided such health care provider is certified or licensed in the state from which the emergency vehicle departed, or the state to which the emergency vehicle is destined.
